A WONDERFUL COMMUNITY TRADITION CONTINUES
It has become our tradition at All Saints to open our doors on Thanksgiving Day and welcome any and all who have need — for a meal, for warmth, for conversation, for community. Thanks to the generosity of businesses, restaurants, friends and congregation members, we serve about 200 people a hearty Thanksgiving meal at no cost: turkey, ham, and all the trimmings, even pie!
Whether you don’t have the resources for a meal on your own, or you would like to share a meal that day with friends yet met, we have a place for you on Thanksgiving Day. There is no charge for the meal; if you wish to make a contribution, we pass along financial gifts to the Palatine Food Pantry in order that more will have the opportunity to eat.
Plans for 2017 again include serving turkey, ham and sides from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Gathering Space at All Saints.
Please join us.
If you have questions, please call our church office or email us.
Do You Know Someone Who Spends Thanksgiving Alone?
Unfortunately, many people spend Thanksgiving alone. If you know someone who will be spending the holiday by themselves this year, please invite them to come to the Community Thanksgiving Dinner.
All are welcome to receive.
