Our Ministries

Ministries are a way for Christians to express our faith and to serve others.

At All Saints Lutheran Church, we offer many ministries that focus on connecting with others, education, serving and sharing the love of Christ to others. We offer age-specific ministries and opportunities to serve others in our communities.

We serve our community in many ways. All Saints members create numerous opportunities for members and non-members to offer time and talents toward service to others. The All Saints Social Ministry Committee oversees most of these activities. Its mission is to care for the church family, the community and the world.

All Saints Food Pantry
All Saints operates a food pantry that has been providing food to the food insecure of Rolling Meadows, Palatine and Arlington Heights for the past 6 years. The pantry, staffed by volunteers, provides food supplement to those on the edge of financial sufficiency.

There are a number of volunteer opportunities available to help in this ministry. Food and monetary donations are accepted at All Saints Lutheran Church. Please Contact Us if you are interested in volunteering at the pantry. The All Saints Food Pantry operates out of the Community Resource Center at 1585 N Rand Rd, Palatine, IL.

PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)
All Saints shelters the homeless and feeds the hungry as directed by the gospel. For more than a quarter century, our church has been a PADS emergency shelter for homeless men, women and children during cold-weather months. Recently, it has joined a faith-based program serving Summer Suppers, community meals for the hungry.

Habitat for Humanity
All Saints is a member of the Spring of Life Partnership, the “resource magnet” that attracts the people, ideas, funds, skills, and overall resources to carry out the Habitat For Humanity mission in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We are committed to fulfilling the goals of Habitat For Humanity here in our corner of the world in a way that delights the new homeowners, the volunteers, and the contributors who make it all possible. In 2021, Spring of Life celebrated it’s 25th Anniversary and is working on it’s 20th home!
